Winter storm slams into the area late in the afternoon and evening. This winter storm was producing very strong winds before the snow started. Once the heavy snow started. The area saw whiteout conditions with heavy snow falling, along with blowing and drifting snow. Winds were gusting up to 40 MPH at times.
